holidays. With the availability of various types of personalised holiday loans, it
has become easy for the Brits to finance their holidaying.

Press Release Body = London (longdogfinance) August 3, 2006: New reports from Post
Office have revealed that the UK citizens holidaying abroad prefer using money to
credit cards. 47 per cent of the Brits are in favour of using local currency over
plastic. On the other hand, only 33.6 per cent use credit card while enjoying their
holidays.

Although only 19 per cent of the holidaymakers use traveller's cheques, use of
credit cards is slowly taking its place. Using money instead of credit cards is
getting popularity because of two factors.

There are so many places offering commission-free deals and competitive rates for
currency exchange. Secondly, there are various types of holiday loans in UK,
offering cost-effective deals for financing exotic holidaying. These are the reasons
why, majority of the Brits favour local currency over plastic.
